The Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) authorizes up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses to pay their employees during the COVID-19 crisis. All loan terms will be the
same for everyone.
Maryland Announces Emergency Relief Funds for Businesses – Maryland has authorized $130 million in loan and grant funding for small businesses and manufacturers that have been impacted by COVID-19. This emergency assistance can be used to pay cash operating expenses including payroll, suppliers, rent, fixed debt payments and other mission-critical cash operating costs. Both Maryland Departments of Labor and Commerce are continuously updating information to keep communities informed.

Federated Charities Dream Team
Federated Charities hosted its first meeting with its Building Construction Dream Team yesterday and we managed to get a shot of them with our Dream Dog, “Charity.”
The Durable Restoration Company, N.E. “Bob” Waltz Plumbing & Heating Inc., American Coating and Caulking and Sunshine Management Corporation will be doing masonry, foundation and HVAC work on our building later this year…all in service of keeping the roof up and the costs low for our 16 nonprofit tenant partners. We managed to find them hats worn originally by the Seven Dwarfs as well as the hand tools they will need to do work to our historic building.
