Founded in January 1986 by Leslie & Nelson Zahler, Sunshine Management Corporation has grown steadily over four decades through a commitment to quality property and facilities management. In 2013, leadership transitioned to the next generation when his son took over operations while integrating Zahler Construction & Development into the business.
“The transition was a natural evolution,” said William Zahler “Property and facilities management complement the work we do in construction and development, and I’ve been honored to continue building on the strong foundation my parent’s created.”
Throughout its history, Sunshine Management Corporation has remained deeply rooted in community service. Beyond managing properties, the company has focused on creating safe, healthy, and welcoming living environments for residents and families, while maximizing the value of assets for its clients.
“My parents always believed that our business existed to serve people first,” William added. “That philosophy shaped the company from the beginning and continues to guide us today.”
Looking toward the future, the company is already preparing for a third generation of leadership. Aaron Zahler, currently studying in college, has grown up immersed in the family business and has gained hands-on experience working in multiple areas of the company, from maintenance operations to administrative management.
While the next generation continues to learn and grow, the future of Sunshine Management Corporation remains firmly grounded in the same values that have sustained it for 40 years: hard work, family leadership, and a commitment to the community.
